Built by loving local hands
Envisioned for years, Semara Ratih is now coming to life though the combined efforts of the people of Delodsema and Taro Kelod. Work began on 17th March 2018 and day-by-day our dream is becoming reality, with the local people getting their hands dirty and everyone gathering together, every Sunday, to contribute. An area of bamboo has been cleared by the holy water and we are now welcoming guests for camping trips in our private and picturesque river valley.
A spiritual centre and future bamboo glamping retreat
A public swimming pool, a yoga deck, the sacred tree and a meditation cave form part of our longer-term vision of a semi-permanent, tented haven for visitors to Delodsema. Volunteers from our village have built pathways, water features and spring water pools, as work continues. An injection of Taro Kelod government investment has recently been welcomed to further the project.

Planned completion is for the Summer of 2019, but you can be one of our first visitors. We have bamboo showers, cool pools, a picnic area and tents where you can wake in the middle of the forest to the sound of nature stirring.
See the teamwork and experience the community effort as our bamboo dream manifests. Come, witness, share the stories and contribute however you can. We look forward to inviting you into our treasured forest home.
